After 18 minutes UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Toledo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Spain's Jonathan Criado getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 21st minute of play forced UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baba Moco in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. Baba Moco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Spain were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baba Moco to make the kick off. Vladimir Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Toledo in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Vladimir Prestes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
