Italy's Eliseo Cutri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Davut Altınpınar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Zatorski came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbigniew Zatorski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Davut Altınpınar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Davut Altınpınar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Dantas made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Giovani Luz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbigniew Zatorski was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Italy booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zaccheo Andolina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Davut Altınpınar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Davut Altınpınar made a huge save. Eliseo Cutri hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 61st minute. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- made a substitution. Gabriel Peres replaced Mauro Quirino. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Zatorski in the 67th minute of the match. Zbigniew Zatorski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
