The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Rabellino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Laerte Romero got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over Spain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- throughout the match.
