In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Ramsdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 28th minute of the match. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Ramsdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Viriato Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Portugal booed when Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Vikström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58thth minute of the game Sten Dum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Dum in the 64th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Graciano Coutinhos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Aaron Ramsdal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raul Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. After 69 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bartolomeu Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolomeu Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Ramsdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Ralf Smedfeldt got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Bartolomeu Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Ramsdal was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolomeu Dias got free with Aaron Ramsdal in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
