Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Viriato Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbek came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Caetano Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Mert Günok. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Özgür Özbek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Marc Granström challenged an opponent after 88 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. After 88 minutes, Daniel Pimentel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the Futbol Sevenler Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü fully deserved thier win.
