Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 4th minute of the match. The Australian Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Garth Brough tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Bombelles to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the game Maxence Durand made a throw-in which Camille Baume played forward. In the 23rd minute Garth Brough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Garth Brough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Australian Youth Academy got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Cornelius ran over to the corner to take the kick. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. Garth Brough who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Brough went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Peletier to make the kick off. When Ellis Hoskin came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ellis Hoskin couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Barbier to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, one of France:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for France. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 63rd minute of play. Garth Brough scored 6-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Ellis Hoskin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. France's David Barbier got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Brough in the 73rd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Garth Brough made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Durand. France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Australian Youth Academy's Ellis Hoskin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garth Brough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Garth Brough might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Brough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 91st minute of play. Camille Baume blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Riddle having to make a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Australian Youth Academy were victorious despite being under pressure from France for much of the match.
