The supporters of Mechita F.C booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Fabio Sazon in the 3rd minute really tested Tommy Kahn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Mechita F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Alessio Treglia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Guillermo Errapel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mechita F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Errapel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mechita F.C's Romulo Rafel got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 22nd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Treglia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Errapel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 33 played minutes Mechita F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Quinito. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alessio Treglia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 39th minute of play. When Germany's Frank Sachs, in the 39th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Germany. In the 40th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessio Treglia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessio Treglia. Alessio Treglia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Mechita F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Mechita F.C's goalkeeper Alessio Treglia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Edelmiro Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Romulo Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Frank Sachs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alessio Treglia. The goal made the score 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albin Holweck got free with Alessio Treglia in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Baristo in the 78th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Mechita F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Alessio Treglia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 85th minute of play forced Mechita F.C's goalkeeper Alessio Treglia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessio Treglia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 88th minute. Edelmiro Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Germany eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
