Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Meier, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Marti came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Urbano Hotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Urbano Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Edgar Meier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bunda Grande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Marti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Frasier Huber came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, SalentoUnited's Octavius Gräf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frasier Huber to strike the kick off in the second half. The SalentoUnited fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frasier Huber went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Urbano Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SalentoUnited made a substitution. John Helgason replaced Edgar Meier. Octavius Gräf scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexis Veterini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from John Helgason in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Malte Schiele. Alexis Veterini kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SalentoUnited had played much better football throughout.
