Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Xacintu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Lucas Guillen scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 1-0. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Erubiel Frans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that David Eikelkamp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erubiel Frans quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 33 minutes into the match, David Eikelkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Frans. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Eikelkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Hodei. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Erubiel Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 42nd minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Jorge Arnau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Erubiel Frans in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Hodei in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of play forced CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Erubiel Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Erubiel Frans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Erubiel Frans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 72nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erubiel Frans. The goal made the score 1-2. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Elvio Errapel was substituted for Santos Jaume. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ made a substitution. Rolando Shepherd replaced Luisito Bernad. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Gaspar Refugio was substituted for Lucas Guillen. Domingos Xacintu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Xacintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Domingos Xacintu got a free kick in the 77th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Moises Hodei got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Frans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Moises Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Erubiel Frans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erubiel Frans came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 93rd minute. The CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
