Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balazs Lajos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Mats Sangolt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Sangolt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Floriana Celtics defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Sangolt. The Floriana Celtics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Sangolt should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Carl Testaferrata Moroni Viani during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Floriana Celtics's Mats Sangolt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Floriana Celtics defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Sangolt. The Floriana Celtics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Sangolt should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 23rd minute of play forced Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Mats Sangolt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes Floriana Celtics's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. When Claudio Bailey fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floriana Celtics's protests and gave Claudio Bailey a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Claudio Bailey hit a great ball. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Sangolt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mats Sangolt. Floriana Celtics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Thake made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Mats Sangolt. When Floriana Celtics's Edward Ellis in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Floriana Celtics's Miguel Piscopo was substituted for Edward Ellis. Floriana Celtics made a substitution. Matt Sciortino replaced Godwin Montesin. With his leg Mats Sangolt managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Hungary's Major Barna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hungary's Major Barna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 68th minute, Miguel Piscopo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Mats Sangolt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Thake in the 73rd minute of play. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mats Sangolt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgio Caruana's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgio Caruana helped the player get up and apologised. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mats Sangolt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Hegedus Henrik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. After 93 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matt Sciortino who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Matt Sciortino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Floriana Celtics.
