The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Floriana Celtics defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Sangolt. The Floriana Celtics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Sangolt should have stopped the shot. Edward Elliss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edward Ellis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Floriana Celtics's Mats Sangolt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Thake in the 23rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Floriana Celtics's corner Godwin Montesin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Testaferrata Viani got free with Tommy Kahn in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mike Stivala kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Thake made a kick off. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany! Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Floriana Celtics fully deserved thier win.
