The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aaron McPhedran kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Miljan Gavrilovic kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Duncan Scotland capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Duncan Scotland really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasko Nestorovski to maneuver through the defense. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max McIvor in the 14th minute of play. Gregor Ayson made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aaron McPhedran immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Aaron McPhedran tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Duncan Scotland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, 2-0. The supporters of Pure dead brilliant team booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Scotland came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Duncan Scotland made a precise shot to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Miljan Gavrilovic kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron McPhedran got free with Zvezdan Nedeljkovic in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sreten Popovic to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Samuel McCaskill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max McIvor in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Pure dead brilliant team's Aaron McPhedran made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the game, Reece McGruder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pure dead brilliant team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serbia the free kick. Duncan Scotland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron McPhedran in the 63rd minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duncan Scotland went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th match minute, Pure dead brilliant team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max McIvor to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jovan Borisov hit a great ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron McPhedran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron McPhedran went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Scotland in the 80th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Caddell, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Borjan Golubovic hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Aaron McPhedran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to interfere. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Scotland in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pure dead brilliant team's Liam Docherty got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Pure dead brilliant team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
