Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 5th minute of play forced Italia's goalkeeper Horacio Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Alves made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Procopio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Redas Baliukonis in the 10th minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Maraman in the 13th minute of the match. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Edgard Alves made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. A wasted opportunity for Italy. 18 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Nafarroa came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italia's Horacio Procopio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horacio Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Horacio Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Nafarroa was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Redas Baliukonis in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Elodio to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Siricio Liotta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Horacio Procopio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Italia's Horacio Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Redas Baliukonis in the 68th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Redas Baliukonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Italia made a substitution. Horacio Procopio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Horacio Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Italia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siricio Liotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Italia throughout the match.
