Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Horácio Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Emanuel Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Horácio Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 14th minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Podgoreanu saved Acercate Y Patea de Lejos from getting behind. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Podgoreanu having to make a save. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Horácio Garcia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 35th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match, Horácio Garcia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilson Amorim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jose Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jose Gipuzkoa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. The throw-in from Rodolfo Miranda in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Hipolito Misael. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Garcia in the 40th minute of the match. Erubiel Erasto struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acercate Y Patea de Lejos. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 44th minute of play. Horácio Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 56th minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Horácio Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Natalio Guter was substituted for Achraf Hakimi. Portugal's attentive Graciano Coutinho managed to snatch the ball when Erubiel Erasto made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. With a little luck, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gaston Ávila, made in the 80th minute of the game. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipinho Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Gervaso in the 91st minute of play. Felipinho Amorim in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Podgoreanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
