After 7 minutes of play, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Natalio Guter made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Yves Ayral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Horácio Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Horácio Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yves Ayral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos got a freekick which was hit by Su Kun. Yves Ayral kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Siricio Liotta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Podgoreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 34 minutes into the game, Natalio Guter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori. Natalio Guter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The supporters of Italy booed when Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Su Kun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 40th minute of play. When Natalio Guter came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Guter couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Hipolito Misael broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Italy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
