Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Egídio Vaz kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Egídio Vaz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Khalid Kennedy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Vaz went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but Alfredo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led England's Kyle Cox to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfredo Macedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 15th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. England's Micah Macdonald was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Macedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Nova Era's Ivo Silva got a free kick in the 17th minute. Alfredo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Vaz in the 21st minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Egídio Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Era's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Micah Macdonald notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nova Era's Alfredo Macedo. Alfredo Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Vaz came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Nova Era was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Nova Era booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the England defense, Egídio Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. The England fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Kennedy should have stopped the shot. Didi Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Khalid Kennedy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Era. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Kyle Cox got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Issac Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Micah Macdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micah Macdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Macedo having to interfere. Nova Era's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 62nd minute of play. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Micah Macdonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didi Vergílio in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. Alfredo Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Issac Dawson in the 75th minute. England's Micah Macdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Micah Macdonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Nova Era getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gilmar Veloso hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes Nova Era got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Queirós. Micah Macdonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Micah Macdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Macedo having to interfere. Didi Vergílio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khalid Kennedy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When Micah Macdonald came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Macdonald couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 94 in the game by Micah Macdonald from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Macedo managed to make a qualified save. Nova Era's players were relieved. England's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Nova Era had won, even though England had held more of the ball.
