Rubén Montt hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Veronica having to interfere. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Veronica. ToCoTaN FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mahmut Bilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Edelmiro Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, ToCoTaN FC's Mahmut Bilen made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Veronica having to interfere. ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Montt came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Veronica was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ToCoTaN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Humberto Distiratsu was slow to take the kick. During this time ToCoTaN FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ToCoTaN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Distiratsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Juan Peron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Peron in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Wim Wilmes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, ToCoTaN FC's Narciso Quirce got a free kick in the 91st minute. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
