Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Marquez kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila Nova GO's Erasmo Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Marquez came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, João Vítor Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 13th minute. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Marquez's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Ulrich Stein fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celsinho Capixaba quite easily take care of the ball. Celsinho Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janik Vogt in the 21st minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Branco in the 23rd minute of play. Daniel Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Daniel Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celsinho Capixaba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Neiva came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 45 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Nova GO the free kick. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Germany booed when Vila Nova GO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Fiori Vianna got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erasmo Neiva. Vila Nova GO's Celsinho Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila Nova GO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Frank Sachs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vila Nova GO's Celsinho Capixaba did a great save. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Daniel Marquez put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Souto in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vila Nova GO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
