After a defensive mix-up in Nova Era's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Macedo came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Kyle Cox put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Macedo. After a rather tough play, Nova Era's Jailson Leão got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Issac Dawson in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Macedo saved Nova Era from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Caelan Hayes managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Caelan Hayes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, England's Issac Dawson got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Freire in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. Seth Young kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caelan Hayes to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Nova Era's Vito Freire to fire away a dangerous shot which Khalid Kennedy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Silva in the 61st minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egídio Vaz in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Didi Vergílio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalid Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Nova Era booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micah Macdonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Augusto de Sousa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes, Zé Augusto de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Era and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nova Era getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Freire in the 88th minute of play. After 93 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Issac Dawson.
