The crowd rose to their feet as Carqueja's Ereinotz Masbernat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casper Claes. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After 8 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by Franco Garro. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars Batzer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 played minutes, Belgium's Siebe Michiels shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Batzer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belgium reached it. Siebe Michiels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lars Batzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elizardo Massana in the 23rd minute. Lars Batzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 25th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Batzer having to make a save. Mario Vielva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Ereinotz Masbernat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Ereinotz Masbernat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. Juan-Alfredo Solares struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carqueja.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Laurens Vandamme. After 56 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Vielva who took care of the corner kick. Juan-Alfredo Solares made a great header on Carqueja's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 59th match minute, Carqueja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Garro to maneuver through the defense. Lars Batzer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Carqueja's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edward Vanderstraeten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carqueja's Lars Batzer did a great save. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Lars Batzer made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Yves Dervaux made a precise shot to the right of Lars Batzer. Carqueja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Mario Vielva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. Lars Batzer made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goalkeeper Lars Batzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lenny Clocheret. 83 minutes into the game, Carqueja's Oliverio Cavallosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-4. Carqueja made a substitution. James Lucena replaced Sandaili Trevijano. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enmanuel Herdozain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elizardo Massana in the 87th minute of play. Honesto Cuetos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Carqueja's Roderigo Villamizar was substituted for Ereinotz Masbernat. In the 93rd match minute, Carqueja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honesto Cuetos to maneuver through the defense. Carqueja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
