The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC's Mateus Vargas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mateus Vargas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Auer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Schneider to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th play minute Mateus Vargas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabio Auer. 2-0. When Emil Seidler fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Emil Seidler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Seidler to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Emil Seidler threw the ball into play from the sideline. 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC's Mehmet Bilge Gençoğlu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Vargas got free with Fabio Auer in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Vargas in the 52nd minute of play. Mateus Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Mateus Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Işık Özer, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işık Özer in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Işık Özer notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Austria's Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mateus Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th match minute, 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hazar Dilşah to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Austria booed when 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baransel Nezih didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Mateus Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. A collision led to 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Mateus Vargas hit a great ball. Mateus Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateus Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
