Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Tucknott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guntademaro Goyenechea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Henry Tucknott made a huge save. Hungary played a much better game than General Velásquez and deserved their victory. The General Velásquez players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
