Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Elemér Udvarhelyi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 3rd minute of play forced Timbau CSM's goalkeeper Tudor Balțoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timbau CSM's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Timbau CSM booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elemér Udvarhelyi. After 21 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. Tudor Balțoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 22nd minute of the match. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tudor Balțoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Timbau CSM's Silviu Tobă got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. Timbau CSM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elemér Udvarhelyi in the 42nd minute. Timbau CSM's Tudor Balțoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Mikkel Wulff tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tudor Balțoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chris Nygaard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Tudor Balțoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timbau CSM's goalkeeper Tudor Balțoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Timbau CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Tudor Balțoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tudor Balțoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tudor Balțoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Elemér Udvarhelyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Elemér Udvarhelyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute of the match Elemér Udvarhelyi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes Timbau CSM got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Ispas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Balțoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tudor Balțoi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Timbau CSM's Tudor Balțoi got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Timbau CSM throughout the match.
