Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eriberto Maiorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 95th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Longchamps club were the better team. Longchamps club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
