Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA defense, Metod Mlynar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mano Dios. The DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mano Dios should have stopped the shot. Mano Dios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metod Mlynar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Pavol Koleno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slovakia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA the free kick. Pavol Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA got a freekick which was hit by Americo Boniel. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Urbano Kusko took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Henrich Slany to make any attempt to save it. Mano Dios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Holub, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cleto Inko's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Inko helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Inko. Americo Boniel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Alvaro Gorka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Pavol Koleno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mano Dios skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute, Pavol Koleno made a precise shot to the right of Mano Dios. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Slovakia's Pavol Koleno got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Pavol Koleno off the ground. After 45 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Koleno. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Bikendi to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Generoso Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mano Dios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Generoso Goren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Metod Mlynar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mano Dios firmly grabbed it by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's goalkeeper Mano Dios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Goren in the 79th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Oliver Holub scored to the left of an out of position Mano Dios, making the score, 2-3. With a little luck, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Mano Dios got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Slovakia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
