Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Mathijn Doctor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stennäs FF the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stennäs FF:s goal. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Stennäs FF's Örjan Levander got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arnout Reekers. Henry Bergström hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Olov Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Stennäs FF's Olov Strand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes Stennäs FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. In the 34th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute of the game Gust Ennemans made a throw-in which Gustaaf Groeneveldt played forward. Gust Ennemans kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Strand having to interfere. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henning Lingren to make the kick off. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Strand having to interfere. Stennäs FF's Olov Strand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of play. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Olov Strand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Stennäs FF's Simon Barck was substituted for Henry Bergström. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Olov Strand threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 64 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Lingren came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olov Strand. Gijsbert ter Kruimer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Rudberg in the 68th minute of play. Åke Ahlquist's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Ahlquist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Åke Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Strand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 73rd minute of the match. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stennäs FF's goalie prevented a goal. During the 79th minute of the match Åke Ahlquist completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Åke Ahlquist a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 79th minute, Åke Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olov Strand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stennäs FF made a substitution. Stefan Nordgren replaced Andréas Rudberg. In the 92nd play minute Lars Meesters came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olov Strand. 1-4. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Olov Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stennäs FF's goalie prevented a goal. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
