Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Oihenarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marciano Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Firmat Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Marciano Sesuldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuncho Agüero in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
