Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Renato Paiva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 minutes Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseu Dante who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Eliseu Dante almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen did a great save. 8 minutes into the game, Eliseu Dante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inazuma Japan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. Eliseu Dante hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Zé Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Wulff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Denmark's Mikkel Wulff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Vieira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Inazuma Japan booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Dante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. Denmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Silva in the 20th minute of the match. Gilson Prestes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Prestes in the 29th minute of play. Zé Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inazuma Japan's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Keld Paulsen managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Inazuma Japan's Paulo Renato Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Olav Graversen hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Renato Paiva got free with Keld Paulsen in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inazuma Japan the free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Chris Nygaard took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Zé Vieira to make any attempt to save it. Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Paulo Renato Paiva made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Chris Nygaard had several of the Inazuma Japan's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Zé Vieira as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 70th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Paulo Renato Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denmark's Lars Steen suffered a concussion in the 74th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 74 minutes into the game, Gilson Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inazuma Japan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. Denmark's Malthe Lassen was substituted for Lars Steen. After 75 played minutes Inazuma Japan got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Prestes. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Chris Nygaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira did a great save. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Silva in the 85th minute of play. Zé Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Rui Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Rui Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
