Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Jāzeps Pics sent off a good shot on target. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 5th minute of the match. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after SK Annenieki's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner ended in Katona Janos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais did a great save. If Katona Janos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jānis Lielais having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 22nd minute of play forced SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artūrs Sagalats showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jānis Lielais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 35th minute of the match. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after SK Annenieki's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. SK Annenieki's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Takacs Tibor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jānis Lielais quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. Jāzeps Pics's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Artūrs Sagalats sent off a good shot on target.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Jānis Lielais in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Jāzeps Pics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indris Tomass in the 65th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indris Tomass in the 67th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Drosmis Kalnaiza during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Drosmis Kalnaiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Annenieki's Ingus Rencis was substituted for Drosmis Kalnaiza. SK Annenieki made a substitution. Vilis Lettlands replaced Indris Tomass. SK Annenieki's Santis Krūzītis was substituted for Renāts Skipors. Jānis Lielais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Reinholds Jaunzems was slow to take the kick. During this time SK Annenieki's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Reinholds Jaunzems almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. Jānis Lielais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 88th minute. SK Annenieki's Jāzeps Pics got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinholds Jaunzems struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Annenieki. The SK Annenieki fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
