Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Hawley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes, Robert Chapuis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the Moorefield AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Dupuy in the 14th minute of play forced Moorefield AFC's goalkeeper Freddie Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, France's Camille Baume nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddie Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Moorefield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Freddie Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Boyles in the 21st minute of the match. Winford Bowden hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Lanny Boyles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moorefield AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. Lanny Boyles hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Daniel saved Moorefield AFC from getting behind. A hard shot 30 in the game by Emanuel Hawley from a close distance when the talented Maxime Durand managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. Freddie Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddie Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Dupuy in the 39th minute of the match. Emanuel Hawley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Val Lowery in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, one of France:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for France. Blair Nunez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Frank Peletier didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 55th minute. France's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Hawley in the 62nd minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Moorefield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Clayton Weller. 75 minutes into the match, France's Frank Peletier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddie Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Moorefield AFC's Val Lowery got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Moorefield AFC's Freddie Daniel got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Chapuis kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Robert Chapuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Chapuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Moorefield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Willie Kramer. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moorefield AFC's goalkeeper Freddie Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Moorefield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lanny Boyles to maneuver through the defense. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Freddie Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Moorefield AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. France were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
