Alexandre Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Calheiros in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasco Calheiros hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Calheiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
