Romeo Lupșoiu came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Cumbicus Mañaria from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Villani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Germany were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Damians TEAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. The corner ended in Frank Sachs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Damians TEAM's Ciro Villani did a great save. With an all-out effort, Damians TEAM's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Arri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Villani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Romeo Lupșoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Stein in the 25th minute of play forced Damians TEAM's goalkeeper Ciro Villani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Aguirre got free with Tommy Kahn in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciro Villani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of the match. Nacho Campano kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Villani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Villani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Villani having to interfere. Ciro Villani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Villani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Damians TEAM! In the 59th minute of the game, Germany got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Romeo Lupșoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Cosca made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Juan Canton however managed to control. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ciro Villani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Aguirre made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Adrian Dreifuss. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Damians TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. Romeo Lupșoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Germany booed when Damians TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Lupșoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aguinaga Amigo in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Villani having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
