The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pacorro Aguilar was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Barreto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edwin van der Sar. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. After 55 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. In the 56th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Pero Falla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pero Falla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 74th minute ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ were awarded a corner. Mario Alberto Yepes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Furman Salantes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pero Falla in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Hori Guillemez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. In the 83rd minute, Pero Falla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 86th minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Furman Salantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
