Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tilemachos Romanidis's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s Paris Korellas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tilemachos Romanidis in the 36th minute of play. 苏骋夕 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Lambis Tournas charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lambis Tournas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 苏骋夕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 50th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bazellatin F.C.'s Lambis Tournas. 苏骋夕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 56th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tilemachos Romanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bazellatin F.C.'s 苏骋夕 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 苏骋夕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of the match. Bas Tuitert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Netherlands's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but Bazellatin F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
