Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teun Verbraecken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Teun Verbraecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 38 minutes, Samuca Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barra Funda F.C and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Samuca Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. The Barra Funda F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
