Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Omar Arnaldo sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tzvetan Mudrov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 29 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Glorioso Deportivo Cali's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hardi Jucknischke came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bartosz Wicherek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Arnaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A hard shot by Tzvetan Mudrov from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Roberto-Carlos Da Silva threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tzvetan Mudrov scored 6-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The supporters of Glorioso Deportivo Cali booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetan Mudrov in the 58th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Arnaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 70th minute, Omar Arnaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Omar Arnaldo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glorioso Deportivo Cali. In the 76th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Arnaldo in the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Omar Arnaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Arnaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Frank Sachs got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Otsoa Arieta hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartosz Wicherek went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Glorioso Deportivo Cali players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
