Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Öfverman went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Mangueira got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Douglas Basso. In the 14th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfredo Bueno in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Douglas Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Nicholas Latifi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Bueno in the 52nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SANTOS F.C's Nicholas Latifi got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicholas Latifi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 59th minute, Rômulo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Bueno in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Manfredo Bueno sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nicholas Latifi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Latifi having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the SANTOS F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
