Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nurtekin Üner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Naci Kaynak lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Arnout Reekers. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nurtekin Üner. Nurtekin Üner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Daniel Stålberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post. Naci Kaynak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Nurtekin Üner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurtekin Üner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nurtekin Üner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Nurtekin Üner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Stålberg. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şansal Taşcıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nurtekin Üner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurtekin Üner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in David Eikelkamp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MERT FC's Nurtekin Üner did a great save. After a rather tough play, MERT FC's Aurelian Caciulescu got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naci Kaynak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 58 minutes into the match, Naci Kaynak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naci Kaynak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Nurtekin Üner came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nurtekin Üner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şansal Taşcıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Lars Meesters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nurtekin Üner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MERT FC's Aurelian Caciulescu got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Stålberg in the 79th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nurtekin Üner could save by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eikelkamp got free with Nurtekin Üner in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurtekin Üner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nurtekin Üner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Nurtekin Üner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
