The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FC Caspiy getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Henri Thomasse hit a great ball. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zülfikar Neyzen having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Henri Thomasse lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Flavio Vittori. Gianpaolo Mascari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zülfikar Neyzen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zülfikar Neyzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siricio Liotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Italy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henri Thomasse to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Caspiy's Zülfikar Neyzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 52nd minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zülfikar Neyzen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Caspiy's goalkeeper Zülfikar Neyzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Deodato Magliozzi with Siricio Liotta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Thomasse in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zülfikar Neyzen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
