Iustinian Ceaușescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Didžiasalis Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Iustinian Ceaușescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nerijus Petukas during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Didžiasalis Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nerijus Petukas to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sven Krakouer in the 56th minute really tested Iustinian Ceaușescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Didžiasalis Utd's Arūnas Kiaunė got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 93rd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willy Stieler's late challenge caught a Didžiasalis Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willy Stieler helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Didžiasalis Utd.
