Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Chagas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Astor Eguntsenti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Larra in the 16th minute of play. Lucas Chagas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Astor Eguntsentis short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Lucas Chagas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Eguntsenti's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casper Claes firmly grabbed it by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Lucas Chagas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Larra in the 34th minute of play. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when C.A. Línea Rotativa's Astor Eguntsenti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Astor Eguntsenti made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Eguntsenti in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Lucas Chagas to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Laurens Vandamme hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Eguntsenti in the 60th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Eguntsenti in the 62nd minute of play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Eguntsenti in the 66th minute of the match. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Lucas Chagas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Chagas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Lucas Chagas however easily saved by the left post. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Severo Larra might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Larra ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Juan Netto got a free kick in the 84th minute. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Rolando Pasqual was substituted for Astor Eguntsenti. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Arnulfo Joey was substituted for Severo Larra. A collision led to C.A. Línea Rotativa getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Juan Netto hit a great ball. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Pasqual in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Pasqual in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Lucas Chagas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Línea Rotativa from getting a goal against them. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
