Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enéas Lago kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rio Pardo MZC's Luís Guilherme Aparecido. Luís Guilherme Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Rio Pardo MZC's Gavril Jula dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 21 minutes into the match, Rio Pardo MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Luís Guilherme Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Guilherme Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Manfredo Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Pardo MZC's protests and gave Manfredo Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Rio Pardo MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Aparecido having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Lalatu in the 30th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Lalatu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Rio Pardo MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Luís Guilherme Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Rio Pardo MZC's Victor Berti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 37 minutes into the match, Rio Pardo MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Luís Guilherme Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Guilherme Aparecido came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 41st minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes Rio Pardo MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Lalatu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Lalatu in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Lago in the 52nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Guilherme Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Rio Pardo MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lars Meesters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luís Guilherme Aparecido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 58th minute, Rio Pardo MZC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Luís Guilherme Aparecido managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luís Guilherme Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Guilherme Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 68th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Aparecido having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Guilherme Aparecido. Rio Pardo MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard and well directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer led 92 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Rio Pardo MZC's Luís Guilherme Aparecido became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-5. In the 95th minute Victor Berti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enéas Lago went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
