Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Roman Garci started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes Newell´s's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. In the 4thth minute of the game Major Barna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newell´s's Denis Inautzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Vörös Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Denis Inautzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roman Garci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newell´s's goalkeeper Denis Inautzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Giraldo came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newell´s's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Newell´s's Roman Garci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Enzo Haritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After having played for 58 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Newell´s made a substitution. Alejandro Sabella replaced Jose Montez. Newell´s made a substitution. Baldomiro Pierres replaced Enzo Haritz. A collision led to Newell´s getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Berke Veli hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Golota in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Denis Inautzi however easily saved by the left post. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Roman Garci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newell´s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Giraldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Newell´s's players had a chance to rest. After 92 played minutes Newell´s got a freekick which was hit by Milan Baroš. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
