Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tor Holm. Tor Holm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Hisingstads BK's Szymon Parzysz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Hisingstads BK's Bulut Bulutelli got a free kick in the 10th minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Kruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Portugal booed when Hisingstads BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radim Zadina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Hisingstads BK got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charlie Kämpe ran over to the corner to take the kick. Szymon Parzysz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 22nd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 24th minute of play forced Hisingstads BK's goalkeeper Tor Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szymon Parzysz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anders Kruse in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. In the 29th minute of the match Charlie Kämpe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Daniel Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pimentel couldn't finish the play. Szymon Parzysz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Jamie Slegers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szymon Parzysz got free with Wilson Amorim in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Jamie Slegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, Hisingstads BK's Anders Kruse made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 76 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hisingstads BK's Tor Holm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Hisingstads BK's Isaac Asplund was substituted for Jan Källberg. Hisingstads BK's Fredric Ekeberg was substituted for Charlie Kämpe. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tor Holm came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipinho Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Felipinho Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Tor Holm. Hisingstads BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Szymon Parzysz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
