Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernani Faria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bruce Lee F.C.'s goalkeeper Iker Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Luís Fernando de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Portugal booed when Bruce Lee F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Yashin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Yashin having to make a save. Iker Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Muno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulev Antsov in the 40th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 44th minute of play. When Luís Fernando de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruce Lee F.C.'s protests and gave Luís Fernando de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Bruce Lee F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando de Salles. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Moreira got free with Iker Yashin in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Iker Yashin made a huge save. Viriato Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Iker Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Hamit Abanoz charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Hamit Abanoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Mustafa Hamit Abanoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 64th minute. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruce Lee F.C.'s Isaias Primo was substituted for Dedê Neiva. A sloppy throw-in by Tomás Faria in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. In the 90th minute, Isaias Primo made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Bruce Lee F.C.'s Iker Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute of play. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Iker Yashin made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bruce Lee F.C..
