Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Fragou in the 41st minute of play. If Nasos Venetidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chatziantoniou Xanthos made the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Soulis Vamvakousis having to make a save. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Soulis Vamvakousis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. meteora 1929 were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nasos Venetidis took the corner. 64 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Fragou came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Fragou took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of meteora 1929 booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Soulis Vamvakousis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dean Bittner made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that meteora 1929 were the better team. meteora 1929's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
