Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roland Berkes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the match Mesterháza got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roland Berkes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mesterháza's corner Roland Berkes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. János Gerő kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Sándor Rácz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Pál Borsos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domenico Ottavi's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Ottavi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mesterháza's Domenico Ottavi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mesterháza's Gyula Grósz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Roland Berkes sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Wilfredo Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Berkes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Roland Berkes slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Rácz in the 59th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 63rd minute of play forced Mesterháza's goalkeeper Gyula Grósz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Chris Mergenthaler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Berkes, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Bermudez in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Sándor Rácz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sándor Rácz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roland Berkes was slow to take the kick. During this time Mesterháza's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Mesterháza's Gyula Grósz got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Mesterháza were the better team. Mesterháza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
