Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 16th minute of play forced Portuguesa's goalkeeper Jorginho Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 任浩默 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 任浩默's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jorginho Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Portuguesa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Holger Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portuguesa were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 任浩默 took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Felipe Arce. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorginho Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 68th minute. Katona Janos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Holger Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 任浩默 who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Jorge Figueiredo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Vaz having to interfere. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary played a much better game than Portuguesa and deserved their victory. The Portuguesa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
