Miguel Mazza started the match with the kick off. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's attentive Erasmo Brito managed to snatch the ball when Gust Ennemans made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Mazza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Anselmo Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Anselmo Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Anselmo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Ahmed Khattab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Nascidos Para Jogar F.C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Oswaldo Blanco hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Anselmo Furlan. Anselmo Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caetano Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Mazza in the 62nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Anselmo Furlan however easily saved by the left post. Miguel Mazza scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 78th minute. Anselmo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 88 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Anselmo Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Isaltino Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. In the 98th minute of the match Alfredo Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball.
