Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. 16 minutes into the match, Lucca F.C's Rudy Letsch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Lucca F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Cosme to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Domingues in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Adelino Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Adelino Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucca F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Germany booed when Lucca F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lucca F.C's Adelino Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Lucca F.C booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelino Domingues to make the kick off. Frank Sachs charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sachs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Cardoso in the 56th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes in the game Sandik Rramadani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vânderson Linhares. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Cardoso came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudy Letsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Lucca F.C's Rudy Letsch got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tarcisio Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Albin Holweck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Domingues came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Domingues in the 85th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
